Celebrations of Life

A wake asks more of a room than most occasions do. It needs to be quiet enough to talk in, warm enough to sit in for an afternoon, and private enough that nobody feels watched. The barns close to everyone else for the day, and our team keeps the tea and the food moving so your family does not have to.

How it works

Call us

Ring and tell us the date and roughly how many people. There is no form to fill in unless you would rather not speak to anyone, in which case there is one.

We handle the detail

Numbers, timings, food and drink. We will make the arrangements and confirm them back to you in writing so nothing rests on memory.

On the day

The building is closed to everyone else. Our team sets up, serves and clears, and you are free to be with your family.

Come and see it

The photographs only get you so far.

Stand in the main room, look up at the beams, work out where the tables go. We reply to every enquiry within one working day.
